About Us
Located at the foot of St. Stephen’s Basilica, in the heart of Budapest, Belvárosi Lugas Restaurant has been a trusted name in Hungarian hospitality for 30 years.
Our story began with a true friendship: three good friends founded the restaurant with the aim of creating a welcoming place where they themselves and their own friends would always be happy to sit down and enjoy a meal. This family-like, friendly and warm atmosphere continues to permeate everything we do to this day.

We have set our prices to offer an accessible option with a favourable value-for-money ratio for quality dining even in the heart of Budapest.
